Spree
Of book shopping spree!!

All these for a mere rm72!!! Not mere, but then again, with 72bucks i can only get 2 of this in MPH/Borders. So this made me really really happy :)
Its a Monday, i feel lazy but today is the first time i visit UM Dental Faculty specifically the oral surgery department. Its for posting, every monday but because 4 groups altogether so basically i only need to go once a month. I think its too little cos honestly i think this posting is really good and i learnt so much from there. And i dont know where the motivation came from but the whole posting just made me wanna learn more and more. I believe this is a very good news. Yes it sure is.
I saw a few interesting cases today. An extraction case involving a grossly carious premolar with existing abscess and buccal space infection, a lichen planus patient, a MVA patient with mandibular fracture, MOS of retained molar roots, and an osteosarcoma case but didnt manage to observe and learn much from the osteosarcoma case cos the patient is on palliative therapy and the doctor doesnt really want students to be in the room during their conversation. They needed some privacy, i guess the patient really is undergoing some psychological issues cos the prognosis is not so good.
I cannot believe for just a 3hours session, i am able to see such a wide variety of cases in just one department. All of a sudden i feel sad staying in IMU we see the same old cases everyday. sigh.

The new beginning
After the entire makeover of what seemed to be lifeless previously, I am proud to announce the reborn of my bloggie :)
The greatest confession of the year : I havent been updating my blog for so long that i actually forgotten the url, you heard me right, i've been trying to figure it out until i cant stand it anymore. And resort to visiting my friend's blogs in hope of finding the link to my own blog. How sad. And how stupid-er can i be.
But oh wells, now that i've finally found my blog back and change its look, i am more than happy to be able to write again.
This is the end of 3rd week of semester 8. I've missed some classes, and the guilt finally begin to crawl all over me. I think i must be having some sort of "holiday withdrawal syndrome". 8am classes seem impossible to me. But but. I promise it will never happen again!
Tomorrow i'll be visiting a book fair, claimed to be the biggest booksales in the world! And i've never heard any bad feedbacks about it so i guess it'll be an eye-opener to me. Chick lits and romantic novels are all on sale. Can you believe a 59.90 worth of novel is only going for 8bucks after discount? Plus all the books are very much up to date(definitely not old stock or some ancient novels we never heard about), and all new not a single secondhand book. I cant wait to splurge on books. I'll make sure i bring enough cash tomorrow. Teehee.

Dental cup
Oh wow such a long hiatus i have no idea!
So i am now entering into the 3rd week of sem7. It honestly feels like the 30th week, i am tired and unmotivated it doesnt sound so good at all right!?
I kind of wish i am in Dunedin now since they always say lives over there are so relaxing and on the slower pace in comparison to ours here.
Friends in Aussie should be quite busy as well, cant escape from the 8-5 torture and their competencies? as well as treating non-malaysian patient for the first time.
Did you guys have butterflies in your stomach too??
Oh, to add up to our hectic schedule here, there's this thing call Dental Cup going on now in IMU. As we have 4 batches now including DT111, all the dental students are divided into 4 separate groups- group 1,2,3,4. As usual cos our batch has only 9 of us, only me and izyan are stuck in group2 together with all those unknown juniors.
The idea behind the cup is to help us know each other better, as well as to select better players to represent imu dental school to compete against other dental school, aimst and pidc if not mistaken.
We're suppose to at least participate in one of the sports/games, and i chose volleyball and badminton. I wanted to join indoor games like sudoku and scrabble but i realise there're so many people wanting to join so i better not embarass myself by joining sudoku and end up completing in like 15minutes.
I think this dental cup thingy will be a failure. It is so not planned and doesnt really go according to plan, for example we've paid rm18 for the shirt last week and today there'll be volleyball match already but where is my shirt??
And, its so hard. Its soooooo hard for the juniors to be punctual, not for once!!
Problem is, they are the one who informed me like say, 7pm for training. I knew they will be late, so i reached around 7.15pm. Fair enough right?? Oh but turns out, none of them are there at 7.15!!! ZEROOOO ppl! And they only reach at 7.30.
I shall suggest to prof toh to add in another lecture for them for time management.
